About this Guide

The Panama Program Guide has been designed to answer your questions and help you prepare for your volunteer time. It is specific to your volunteer program so you are aware of what you will be facing during volunteering. The Guide is divided into five sections: About Panama, The Program, Expectations of the Program and Volunteers, Preparation for your Travel, and Useful Things to Know (FAQS, International Travel advice, Useful links, Cancellation Policy). If you have a question that is not answered by the Guide please refer these to your Volunteer Coordinator.

*When people want to send a package to Mailboxes Etc. they must send an email to mbe_boquete@cwpanama.net to inform them of the package and the person who will be picking up the package along with the senders contact information in case of any issues with customs. This provider has been proven to be safe and effective. Volunteers will be responsible for paying the fees to pick up their sent packages that are determined by weight and can be quite expensive so we advise all volunteers to look into costs before sending packages. This service can take 2-4 weeks for arrival and restrictions do apply on what you can send. For more information contact them directly at: +507-720-2684.
