We have designed our volunteer programs using a motivational interviewing approach, which allows you to set your goals prior to departure allowing you to stay focused on your trip. As a volunteer with UMMF you are required to keep a daily journal of your experiences. This truly promotes personal growth and development and gives you the tools to share your experience with others. After you volunteer with UMMF, we continue to stay united through our volunteer blogs and our Facebook Volunteer Page, which is a place you can share your thoughts ideas and experiences with other volunteers and those with the desire to volunteer.
